Curly Flat Cut Maple

Late last year we built and delivered this beautiful silver wound and wired pre-amplifier to our client in the USA. He had found a specific maple veneer which matched the finish on his custom made power amplifiers and wondered whether we had something similar.

Rather than trying to find a compromise, we imported the veneer our client had seen and used it for his lid, working with him to ensure the orientation of the veneer met his expectations.

We were delighted when our client wrote to us after he had installed his pre-amplifier and confirmed that the lid was exactly as he had hoped and added "The improvement to the audio is going to take some time for me to fully process. But here's my early impressions: Everything has improved dramatically."
